What Is It?
Junior Rugby Rox is the combination of our two favourite things - Rugby & Fitness! Hosted by Burgess Hill Rugby Club and Potential Personal Training.
The goal? Getting kids away from screens and taking part in a challenging fitness event & having fun.
Inspired by something that rhymes with HighSocks, this is an individual event, you can expect 8-10 intervals that includes an approx 200-300m run followed by a body weight exercise station tailored to the children's age range. Exact details, including rules of the event will be confirmed 2 weeks prior, but there will be 2 wave times - 2:30pm for 7-10 year olds and 2:45pm for 10-14 year olds.
Why Should My Child Try Rugby Rox?
Ever felt your child needs a goal? Need to find a way to wear them out? Want to keep them off their screens & raise money for our local community rugby club? 10% of tickets prices will also go towards Motor Neurone Disease (MND) Association - what more can we say to convince you?!
Well then this event if for your child!
The even is carefully planned so no matter their current fitness or skill level, they'll be able to take on the challenge.
All exercise stations are safe and effective and will be overseen by experienced coaches to help motivate, support, referee and adapt where necessary.
Oh and there's a soft drink & medal after their race!
