Saturday 14th March brought an U10s festival with a difference to All Black Towers. The teams were each allocated a 6 nations country to represent for the day and asked to get into character- and how brilliantly everyone embraced it!
12 teams from across Sussex took part in the festival with some fantastic rugby on show.
The Burgess Hill teams represented England and their performances would have made any England fan proud. Tackling, rucking, passing- they did it all with determination and flare. The U10s demonstrated fantastic team work - supporting each other both on and off the pitch and all had massive smiles on their faces at the end.
The festival was also a special day for some of our U15 and U16 players who have recently trained as referees and did a brilliant job refereeing the matches throughout the festival supported by the club's experienced referees- OJ, James and Gary. Well done Dylan, Patrick, Tommy and Stan- you all did a fantastic job of refereeing on the day and thank you to all those who are supporting the boys as they develop.
Final a huge thankyou to the other clubs who joined us for the day- getting into the spirit of the festive and bringing their own flare and excellent rugby to the festival:
A special shout out to Gareth from Seaford who really took on board getting into character and coached the whole festival in a Roman soldier helmet- Excellent work!
A massive thank you to Tom Grimes for capturing the day in some amazing photographs.
