‘We’d like to take this opportunity to thank Pete Long for his dedication and hard work as Bar and Facilities manager and for his support and advice during our handover.

We have already hit the ground running- making some changes to the layout of the kitchen and installing a barista coffee machine behind the bar to provide members with high quality hot drinks.

Our plan going forward is to make sure rugby is at the heart of everything we do to provide all club members with a busy, buzzing community rugby club.

From September the clubhouse bar will be open on Thursdays after training, all day Saturday and all day Sunday. Longer term we’d like to also open the bar on Friday evenings - If there’s enough demand.

Food will be available for spectators and members to buy on Saturdays and Sundays, and we’ll look to offer this on other days the club’s open.

We are adding a new till system to work across the kitchen and bar and have added a dishwasher in the kitchen. We have been in touch with local breweries and will be putting on local beers. We will also increase the range of non alcoholic drinks so everyone is catered for.
