Game is off however our Oktoberfest is on!

As starts to seasons go, this one is a little stop start!

Today marks the 4th round of the league and we have only completed 1 game!

Our opponents today (East Grinstead 2s) unfortunately cannot raise a side due to absence and injury. Despite our best efforts we could not find anyone to fill the void either.

Last weekend saw us travel to Cowdray Park in Midhurst to play the Stags. Our last visit to Midhurst was in 2015 and for a lot of the players this was their first time playing with the backdrop of grade 1 listed 16th century ruins!

Whether it was the long journey or mesmerising back drop, the men in black got off to a slow start against the combative Stags. In the second half the Sussex All Blacks found an extra gear and came away with a 4 try bonus point win on the road winning 8-24. The highlight try, a penalty move straight off the training park that saw evergreen captain Adam Rezazadeh score.

Next Saturday (26th) we are away to Horsham BaBas and we are confident the men in green will field a side.

Despite not having a fixture today the boys are having a training session/game at the club this afternoon so as to build up a thirst ahead of our Oktoberfest event. The club, bar and kitchen will be open from 4pm serving some Bavarian treats. Herr Hasib will be cooking up the Wurst food ever tasted. Local band/duo, Follow the Pink Guitar join us for some proper thigh slapping fun from 7pm.

Why not come down and join the fun!
