This is what one of the participants told us about last year's events:
"I’ve completed three HYROX events and even won my age category in the Pro Doubles. That said, I honestly enjoyed RugbyRox more. The atmosphere was fantastic, the people were friendly, and it was just as challenging — with the added bonus of being outdoors. It was also easier to get tickets and more affordable overall." - Rich, Burgess Hill.

WHAT DOES IT INVOLVE?
This is a fitness race event inspired by HighSocks but using some different workout elements and fitness challenges that you might see more specific to the pitch or pre-season.
A mix pairs/solo participants will go off every 15 minutes (mixed & same sex).
You will complete a 600m Run as a pair (running together) or individually as solo, then take it in turns to complete a set fitness challenge. You will then set off on your next run and repeat this cycle.
All run routes, workout zones, instructions and areas will be marked clearly.
BUT I DON'T KNOW ANYTHING ABOUT RUGBY?
Well, thats perfectly fine! You need absolutely no pre-requisite rugby skill or knowledge to take part in RugbyRox!
There is no contact, no skill requirement, just fitness & fun!

Athlete, staff & volunteer safety is of the upmost importance to us as event organisers, so you can rest assured we will adjust and accommodate the fitness challenges with whatever weather circumstances we have to ensure you still have a safe yet effectively challenging event!
That being said, we as humans are these amazing beings that can cope in all kinds of weather eventualities, Rugby is a multi season sport, PPT Sessions have been run in the blazing sun though to snowy days out on Lindfield common… In other words, YOU WILL BE FINE!
Its its raining, bring a towel & a change of clothes, maybe a lightweight coat. If its sunny, wear suncream & hydrate well. If its windy, just stick your nut down and run harder into the wind!
