On Friday 20th the Black Adders took part in the first Walking Rugby festival in Sussex for 2026.

With a squad of only 7 players the team played excellently well. Winning 3 games and drawing 1.

Unfortunately our last game was cancelled due to a lighting failure, and the win was given to the opposition.

Overall winners were Barns Green, with Burgess Hill coming tied second with Worthing and hosts Horsham.

A great evening of Walking Rugby and a special shout out to the refereeing team who did an amazing job, including their handling of some heated moments between teams.

Well done to all the teams and huge well done to all the Black Adders who played every game, with no rest and no subs.
