As Burgess Hill Rugby Club continues to grow both on and off the field, we are looking to strengthen the leadership and governance of our Club by welcoming new volunteer Directors to the Board of Burgess Hill Rugby Football Club Limited.

We are a proud not-for-profit Community Amateur Sports Club (CASC) with a long history of providing rugby, friendship and opportunities for people of all ages within our local community. As we look to the future, we want to ensure the Club is well positioned to thrive for generations to come.

We are seeking members who have experience as a Company Director, or who have significant experience in strategic leadership, governance or business management, to join our official Board. This is a voluntary position requiring attendance at approximately four Board meetings each year. The Board's focus is on the long-term strategic direction of the Club rather than the day-to-day running of rugby activities.

Key areas of responsibility include considering and developing the Club's:

· Long-term strategic vision

· Ownership and governance structure

· Lease arrangements and facilities development

· Funding and financial sustainability

· Community Amateur Sports Club status and wider community engagement

· Position within the wider sporting and local community

This is an exciting opportunity to help shape the future of Burgess Hill Rugby Club, ensuring it remains a sustainable, inclusive and successful community organisation.
