The under 11’s made a foray through Ashdown Forest to meet a welcoming Crowborough team for their training session. A cold and dry morning beckoned with the pitches in perfect condition for rugby. Our merry men (boys and girls) were ready from the off showing their fitness and training skills, ably joined by coaches from both clubs. (Some doing their best Little John impressions).

Two games completed the session with some tenacious effort from all concerned. Some arrow-like runs were prevalent with some epic steals shown as these 10 & 11 year olds are really growing up with some positive decision making. The feedback from our players was that they enjoyed having different team mates to hone their skills with at a training session. Everyone went back to their castles for a feast, feeling a lot richer.
